Specifically, our 28-11 Rung Lock Kit is compatible with Werner aluminum extension ladders, including models such as the 24 ft, 28 ft, and 32 ft extension ladder. These rung lock kits are suitable for Werner D1300 series ladder, D1200 series ladder, and 250lb rated models manufactured after 2002.

Installation of our rung lock kit is simple and straightforward. Using wrenches, you can easily remove the old lock assembly and fasteners. Then, position the new lock assembly over the rungs of the front and rear rails. Insert the lock bolt through the large hole in the side rail and thread the nut on the bolt. Align the small hole on the side rail with the hole in the lock bracket and insert the small bolt provided with the new lock assembly. Finally, tighten the large lock bolt and nut using the wrenches.

The rung lock kit measures approximately 8" in length, so please ensure that it fits your ladder before making a purchase. Each package includes 2 lock assemblies (1 right hand and 1 left hand), small machine screws, small lock nuts, large lock nuts, small screw gaskets, large screw gaskets, and installation instructions.
